The Embassy of India in Ouagadougou is pleased to invite the members of the Indian community in Burkina Faso to the Hindi Day Celebration to be held at the Embassy premises on Saturday, 14 September 2024 at 10:00 hrs.

2. The following activities will be organized on the occasion of Hindi Day 2024 in two age categories (10 – 18 Years & 18 years and above):-

(A) Essay Writing Competition: "Suggestions for increasing interest in Hindi among the young generation". The essay should be handwritten in Hindi Devnagari script (about 300 words).

(B) Poetry Writing Competition- You can send original handwritten poems in Devnagari script on any subject of your choice. The poem should be between one and two minutes in length.

(C) Screening of a Hindi Film

(D) Hindi Poem Recitation & Hindi Debate Competition

3. For those who do not live in Ouagadougou and are unable to attend in person, you can also submit a video of your poetry recitation to eoimarketingassistant@gmail.com .

4. Please send your essay and/or poem and video to eoimarketingassistant@gmail.com by 12 September 2024. Winners will be honoured on 14 September 2024."
